There is open space around the house, a private walkway to the shore, and easy access from the NC500 route, so getting here is straightforward and once you are here, there is no need to force the day. You can walk, slow down, head back inside, then do it all again without turning every outing into a car journey.
At the seaward end of the house there is a spacious living area combining kitchen, dining space and sitting room, making Rocklea a comfortable base after time outdoors. The house sleeps five adults across one double, one twin and one single bedroom, and includes the practical features that matter on a longer stay, including a washing machine, tumble drier, dishwasher, fridge freezer and WiFi for streaming when the weather allows.
We want dog owners to feel welcome at Rocklea, but we also want expectations to be clear. Dogs should be kept under strict control because there may be sheep in surrounding fields, and guests are advised to keep them on a lead in the garden. Pets should also be kept off the furniture.
