The house sleeps five adults across three bedrooms, one double, one twin and one single. There is a fully equipped bathroom, a separate W.C., and the kitchen includes the things that make longer stays easier, including a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, fridge freezer, microwave and electric cooker.

This is also a place where the setting keeps working even when you are indoors. The house is known for its nearness to nature, with birdlife, red and roe deer, pine marten, seals and sometimes otters visible in the wider area, and in some cases from the sitting room window itself. WiFi is available and allows full streaming when the weather is behaving.

At Rocklea, dogs need to be kept under strict control because there may be deer in the garden with sheep and feral goats in the surrounding area. Guests are advised to keep dogs on a lead in the garden, and pets should be kept off the furniture.

It is also worth knowing that while the private walkway gives direct access to the beach, it is not suitable for disabled or infirm visitors.
